Founded in 2014 in Paris, CGN Europe Energy (CGNEE) aims at becoming a major player in the renewable energy industry in Europe and Africa.  With a portfolio generating 1.4GW, CGN Europe Energy Sweden Holding AB is recruiting a number of technical professionals (e.g. Asset Managers, Site Managers and Engineers) to manage its growing portfolio.  These positions report to the Operations Manager Sweden.  The office is in Umea.

SITE MANAGER

Responsibilities:

Inspection and on-site follow-up

·       Perform on-site BoP and general inspection

·       Accompany subcontractors on wind turbine inspection

·       Follow up on technical issues and punchlists

·       Offer solutions to Asset Managers to resolve identified issues

Terrain expertise development

·       Build strong on-site knowledge and experience

·       Connect with subcontractors and local parties to identify potential regional collaborators who will add value

·       Use turbine knowledge and experience to bring additional expertise and track technical issues on our wind turbines and substations

·       Review inspection reports, identify key issues and dysfunction to assist asset management to increase efficiency

·       Participate in and organize specific expertise such as video-endoscopies, blade calibration, oil analysis, thermographies, de-icing system verification

·       Develop a strategy of safe, secure and reliable site access organisation for wind farm s located in the far north of Sweden

QHSE rules implementation

·       Liaise with HSE department, review HSE plan and update HSE on risk assessment

·       Monitor the enforcement of HSE rules

Requirements:

-           Qualification in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification

-           Minimum of 2 years’ technical experience in wind farm / high voltage operations and maintenance

-           Understanding of wind turbine and substation technical framework, turbine inspection and reporting

-           Excellent team player, diligent, dynamic and honest

-           Strong stakeholder relationship building skills

-           A natural problem solver, tenacious in seeking solutions to operational issues

-           Strong communicator and interpersonal savvy, with the ability to report in a precise manner to the management on job proposals issued, current projects, upcoming deadlines

-           High computer literacy with a good knowledge of MS Office; SCADA knowledge an advantage

-           A full, clean driver’s licence

-           Written and spoken Swedish and English proficiency

-           Umea-based and willingness to travel 25% of the time
