On December 3rd, during the “creating green sustainable cities” day of Paris Climate Change Conference(COP 21), CGN Europe Energy, China Merchants New Energy Group and Huawei Technologies signed a three-party memorandum of understanding (MOU), so as to develop jointly new energy market. The aim is to invest, build and operate smart PV power plant with a 2GW generation capacity in Europe in the next two years.
The signing of this agreement marked a powerful combination of large State-owned enterprises in the overseas market, and will further enhance the overall level and competitiveness in the photovoltaic industry. With the signing of this MOU, the three parties will make use of their respective advantages and cooperate in Europe for PV power plant development, design, energy Internet + and intelligent power stations, in order to build “smart, efficient, safe and reliable” smart PV power stations, and to promote the healthy development as well as technological advances in the photovoltaic industry.
